Adult Education
Eradication of illiteracy has been one of the major national concerns Samiti conducts continuous study classes for Neo literates and illiterates. We encouraged women and adult to come and attend the classes regularly. We have set up rural libraries.
A two-pronged approach of universalisation of elementary education and universal adult literacy has been adopted for achieving total literacy with an area-specific, time bound volunteer-based campaign approach had been implemented and the community became responsible for running its own development programmes and consequently determining its future.
In order to revitalize, re-energize and expand the role of not only their number is being increased but also their infrastructure and resource facilities are being strengthened to enable them to play the role of catalytic agents |
